Casa do Monte is a refurbished traditional home with a private garden, swimming pool, and generous outdoor space — ideal for families and groups looking for tranquility close to the sea. Located in a quiet village on top of a hill, the house overlooks the famous World Surfing Reserve of Ericeira. It blends rustic charm with functionality: simple, cozy, and comfortable without pretension, offering an authentic countryside atmosphere.

The property is divided into two wings:
Main House (sleeps up to 6 guests)

Ground floor: entrance hall, fully equipped community kitchen (2 fridges, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine), two bedrooms, and one bathroom.
Attic: one bedroom with private bathroom and space for an extra bed if needed.

Annex (opened for groups of 7 or more, or upon request for smaller groups wishing separate bedrooms, charged at the 7-guest rate.)
Physically separated from the main house and connected through the BBQ area. Includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a sofa bed for one or two extra guests. Offers extra privacy — perfect for two families or groups who prefer their own space.
Outside, enjoy a private swimming pool, BBQ area with outdoor seating, and ample parking for several cars. Guest Access and Capacity

Occupancy & Annex Use
For bookings of up to 6 guests, the Annex remains closed by default. If your group is smaller but you would like to use the Annex (for example, to have separate bedrooms or more privacy), it can be opened on request at the same rate as for 7 guests.
For bookings of 7 guests or more, both wings — the Main House and the Annex — are included automatically in your stay.
Location
Just 9 km from Ericeira’s center — close enough to enjoy its restaurants and surf spots, yet far enough to unwind in peace. Perfect for surf lovers, families, or anyone wanting to relax in the countryside with easy access to the coast.
Other Things to Note
The property is not a luxury villa, but a comfortable, spacious country home with character. Ideal for families, groups of friends, or two families traveling together. Annex use for small groups can be added on request (extra fee applies). Pool and garden are private and exclusive to guests.

"It was our second stay within a year, which should indicate how happy we were to enjoy Monte Bom again. For access to the beaches & surrounding attractions, a car is handy- although a bus service exists. We re-visited Sintra & Mafra, and really enjoyed Obidos for a day. The owner Maria, (again) left us an enormous pineapple cake! ???? Highly recommended."
