The Arriba house with its two apartments (arriba means cliff in Portuguese) is a prime oceanfront location in the North end of Ericeira's center overlooking the North Beach (Praia do Norte). The views are really amazing, you can see down south as far as to the Sintra mountains and up North up to the famous surf spots Ribeira d'Ilhas and Coxos.
Walking down to the North Beach and the neighboring São Sebastião beach takes you just a couple of minutes. Food stores, bakeries, coffees, bars, restaurants and nightclub are all close by. You won't need a car if your intention is to surf and stay in Ericeira. In case you come by car, there is a larger parking area next to the house.
The oceanfront house Arriba is comprised by a first floor and a roof-top apartment, both recently refurbished, nicely decorated and in a unique oceanfront location. The apartments are connected through a wooden spiral stairway in the house's hallway, giving privacy to the 2 units and at the same time being one unit.
The 2 floors have 6 bedrooms with 3 small double-beds, 6 single beds and one bunk bed for 2 adults. There is also one sofa-bed for one person, in case you need 12 separated beds.
Some highlights are: The oceanfront terrace, furbished with wooden furniture, including a chaise lounge, sun-chairs and table. A large umbrella shields the whole terrace if needed and the barbecue invites for cooking Al Fredo dinners. And an indoor chill area with a large chaise lounge (to be transformed into 2 single beds), sofa bed and chairs facing the flat screen TV, with cable channels, Netflix and fiber-optic WiFi for your entertainment. There's also a DVD player, so bring your favorite surf and music videos.
Both floors have one fully equipped kitchen each (dishwasher and washing machine) and a nicely sized eating area facing the Atlantic ocean. 2 modern bathrooms, both with walk-in showers top up the property.
